MOST Training

Mobile Outreach Skills Training (M.O.S.T®) is a fast-track, intensive skills training, recruitment, assessment and placement program which prepares unemployed and underemployed individuals for entry level production jobs in a faction of the time of traditional programs.

Utilizing a unique 3-phase process, M.O.S.T® basic manufacturing skills training prepares individuals for a wide-range of entry level jobs including:  machine operations, assembly, quality inspection and more.  The initial two-week intensive training covers:  shop math, blueprint reading, metrology, lean to green manufacturing, hands on computer numerically-controlled operation and more.

A key feature of the program is the use of a state-of-the-art mobile training unit (MTU) that provides portability, cost effectiveness and on demand logistics.

The M.O.S.T. ® program:

  • Identifies jobs prior to training

  • Provides participants, based on an accelerated training model, with a guaranteed job interview after just two weeks of initial training, followed by eight week on-the-job training

  • Trains hard-to-serve populations for high wage jobs with benefits

  • Results in overall business expansion and job growth

How M.O.S.T. ®Program Works:

Recruitment & Outreach:  Job openings and hiring commitments are secured up-front and qualified referrals are screened for minimum program requirements.  Employers interview candidates and make an offer of employment contingent on successful completion of Phase I training.

Phase 1 - Fast-Track Intensive Training:  Select group of trainees enter a two-week intensive training on the mobile training unit and trainees receive a Lean to Green Certification.

Phase 2 – On-the-Job Training:  8-week structured, customized on-the-job training.

Phase 3 – Career Mentoring and Retention:  4-month mentorship and retention program begins culminating in the design of a career blueprint for each participant to support continued career progression.
