*Industries gaining jobs in Hillsborough County over the year included Government (+4,000 jobs), professional and business services (+2,900 jobs) and education and health services (+1,500 jobs).  Other services was unchanged over the year. 

 

*Industries that lost jobs in Hillsborough County over the year were:

- Mining, logging, and construction (-4,600 jobs);

- Manufacturing (-3,400 jobs);

- Information (-2,000 jobs);

- Trade, transportation, and utilities (-1,600 jobs);

- Financial activities (-800 jobs);

- Leisure and Hospitality (-400 jobs);
